Factory 11 (Łucznik Radom) production and 1974 date markings place this P-64 squarely in the Cold War era of Polish service pistols. The import mark from C.A.I. (Georgia, VT) and Polish proofs, including the oval "11" and ŁUCZNIK POLAND markings, are present and legible.
The P-64 design is a compact, all-steel, straight-blowback DA/SA pistol chambered in 9x18mm Makarov. It uses a fixed 3.3-inch steel barrel and an external ring hammer. The heel-type magazine release and single-stack 7-round magazines contribute to its slim profile and carry-friendly size.
Controls include a slide-mounted safety/decocker. The slide features anti-glare checkering on the top and a blued finish that matches the blued steel frame; there is no loaded-chamber indicator. Fixed sights consist of a front blade and rear notch.
This example comes with installed aftermarket checkered wood grip panels for a classic look and added texture, along with the original black checkered plastic grips. It includes four steel magazines with finger-rest floorplates, each showing electro-penciled numbers, and a non-matching, 1973-dated Factory 11 spare slide.
The pistol retains matching serial numbers on the slide and frame. Capacity is 7+1, and the compact size makes the P-64 an efficient sidearm from its period of service.
