What's Included
- Winchester Model 94 Carbine .30-30 lever-action rifle (1966)
- Adjustable aperture (peep) sight (installed)
Built in 1966, this Model 94 retains the desirable top-eject action and carbine configuration with a 20-inch round carbon-steel barrel. It uses a full-length tubular magazine with a stated 6+1 capacity, features two barrel bands, and loads through a right-side gate.
The sighting system is versatile: a ramped front sight with a dovetailed blade, a semi-buckhorn rear barrel sight, and an added adjustable aperture (peep) sight. This setup provides both traditional and aperture sight options without altering the carbine’s core configuration.
The rifle wears a blued finish with a blued/matte receiver and walnut furniture. It has a straight-grip stock, smooth carbine fore-end, and a checkered aluminum-alloy shotgun-style buttplate. Length of pull measures 13.5 inches.
Factory markings include "WINCHESTER — MODEL 94 — 30-30 WIN." on the barrel and "WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL," along with "MADE IN U.S.A., TRADE MARK." These markings, along with the top-eject bolt/receiver design, are consistent with mid-1960s Winchester production.
