The Mod. 1934 is a compact, all-steel sidearm with a 3.5-inch fixed barrel and a simple, reliable single-action blowback action. Chambered in .380 ACP (9 Corto), it offers a 7+1 capacity and the characteristic open-top slide with rear serrations for smooth cycling.
This 1972 Italian-produced example is a late/post-war commercial variant identifiable by its right-side, two-line legend: "CAL. 9 CORTO MOD. 1934" on the top line and "F B" with "1972" to the right on the second line. It wears a traditional blued finish with black synthetic PB-monogram grip panels and retains the lanyard ring at the rear of the frame.
Controls and sights are straightforward and period-correct, including a manual safety with a red "F" fire indicator, and fixed sights with a small front blade and rear notch. An I.O. Inc., Palm Bay, FL import mark is present.
This pistol has a custom externally threaded muzzle. The threads have been soldered and do not appear functional for mounting attachments, but the modification remains a distinct feature of this individual example.
It includes one 7-round steel magazine with an elongated witness slot and a finger-rest floorplate, matching the compact form factor and caliber of the pistol.
