This 1982 Browning Auto-5 Light Twelve is a Miroku-Japan–made 12-gauge with a 26-inch vent-rib barrel and a 2 3/4-inch chamber. It is threaded for Browning Standard Invector chokes and features factory scroll engraving with the oval bust medallion of John M. Browning on a polished blued steel receiver. The gun retains hallmark Auto-5 features including the adjustable friction system and left-side magazine cut-off, and it has a gold-colored trigger. A Modified choke is installed in the barrel.

The long-recoil Auto-5 action uses an adjustable friction system, allowing the shooter to set the gun for different 2 3/4-inch loads. A left-side magazine cut-off lever provides quick control of loading and unloading. Capacity is 4+1.
The 26-inch barrel is marked "BROWNING AUTO-5, Invector Special Steel, 12GA SHELLS - 2 3/4 - 26" and carries a vent rib with a matted top and a single front bead. It is threaded for Browning Standard Invector chokes, and a Modified choke is currently installed.
The polished blued steel receiver and barrel display factory Browning scroll engraving that includes the "BROWNING" name and the oval bust medallion of John M. Browning. A gold-colored trigger and knurled steel magazine cap complete the classic Auto-5 configuration.
The shotgun wears a gloss-finished walnut pistol-grip stock with cut checkering and a Browning-branded rubber recoil pad with a widow's-peak at the heel, paired with a matching walnut forearm. Length of pull measures 14.75 inches.
