Para USA 1911 Expert Carry .45 ACP Compact Pistol, 3" Match Bull Barrel, Aluminum-Alloy Frame, 8+1
This Para USA 1911 Expert Carry stands out as a compact, true single-stack .45 ACP built during the late Para USA period prior to the brand’s 2015 integration into Remington. It pairs a 3-inch bushingless, match-marked bull barrel with a steel slide and a machined aluminum-alloy frame to deliver a carry-friendly 1911 configuration with 8+1 capacity. Clear factory markings and practical sighting upgrades round out a focused, purpose-built package.

What’s Included
- Para USA factory hard case (green, PARA-logo)
- Three 8-round steel single-stack 1911 magazines (one Chip McCormick Custom LLC Power Mag)
The Expert Carry configuration features a 3-inch bushingless, match-marked bull barrel engineered for reliable lockup in a compact 1911 format. The true single-stack design uses 8-round magazines for an 8+1 .45 ACP capacity in a smaller footprint.
Construction pairs a steel slide with a machined aluminum-alloy frame to reduce weight while maintaining durability. The pistol operates in classic single-action, hammer-fired 1911 fashion, with a skeletonized combat hammer, a lightened skeletonized trigger, and both a thumb safety and a grip safety.
Sights include a green fiber-optic front and a low-mount dovetailed rear for a bright, fast front reference and a snag-resistant rear profile. The slide incorporates rear cocking serrations and a lowered, flared ejection port.
Factory markings are present: the slide is marked "Para 1911" on the left and "Expert Carry" on the right, and the frame is marked "PARA USA - CHARLOTTE, NC." This example comes from the late Para USA era, offering clear lineage just before the company’s integration into Remington.
