What’s Included
- Winchester Model 190 .22 S/L/LR semi-automatic rifle
Built as the cost-conscious counterpart to the Model 290, the Model 190 delivers Winchester 200-series design in a straightforward, reliable package. This example carries the New Haven barrel roll-mark, aligning it with the 1967–1980 production era.
It uses a semi-automatic blowback action and a tube-fed under-barrel magazine with a removable inner tube. Capacity is approximately 15+1 in .22 LR, and the rifle is chambered for .22 Short, .22 Long, and .22 Long Rifle. Controls include a right-side charging handle knob, a cross-bolt safety, and right-side ejection.
The 20.5-inch steel barrel is paired with an alloy receiver and a blued finish. A takedown screw on the receiver facilitates maintenance. The length of pull measures 13.5 inches, and the butt is capped with a black molded plastic Winchester-logo buttplate.
Sighting is via open iron sights: a ramped front blade and an open rear with a step elevator that is drift-adjustable. The hardwood stock wears a walnut finish with a straight comb, uncheckered panels, and a long forend that offers a solid, traditional feel.
