What’s Included
- Remington RM380 pistol chambered in .380 ACP
- Two 6-round steel single-stack magazines (one with finger-rest baseplate, one flush-fit)
The RM380 uses a locked-breech, short-recoil system paired with a double-action-only, hammer-fired mechanism and a bobbed hammer. The aluminum frame is black anodized and paired with a 416 stainless-steel slide, delivering a durable metal-frame micro pistol with a 2.9-inch barrel and 6+1 capacity.
Controls are designed for practical carry use: an ambidextrous magazine release positioned behind the trigger, an external slide stop that locks the slide open, and tool-less takedown via an unlock pin. The slide has rear serrations only and an external extractor.
Sights are fixed and integral, with an integral front ramp and a rear notch machined into the slide. An extended beavertail/tang helps manage grip position, while black polymer grip panels with 'R' logos provide a straightforward, secure hold.
Production and lineage add notable context for collectors and informed buyers. The frame is marked "REMINGTON ARMS CO. RM380 HUNTSVILLE, AL" with a 2D matrix code, and the design traces back to the Rohrbaugh R380/R9, reflecting a lineage known for ultra-compact metal-frame pistols.
