What’s Included
- Colt Junior .25 ACP pistol with gold-plated finish
- 1x 6-round detachable steel magazine with six witness holes
The gold-plated finish on both the slide and frame gives this micro .25 a rare, eye-catching presentation while retaining the correct Colt markings. The slide carries "JUNIOR COLT CAL. .25" along with the Colt Hartford address, and the frame bears the "MADE IN SPAIN FOR COLT'S" import stamp associated with the pre-1968 GCA era.
Built on the Spanish Astra pattern for Colt, this single-action-only design uses a heel-type magazine release and a thumb safety, complemented by an external spur hammer. The slide has rear vertical serrations for sure handling, and the fixed sights consist of an integral front blade and a fixed rear notch.
Compact dimensions define the model: a 2.3-inch barrel, approximately 4.5 inches overall length, and about 12 ounces unloaded (factory spec). Despite its micro size, it retains practical touches like a lanyard ring at the rear of the frame and checkered wood grips with Colt medallions.
As a pre-1968 import example from 1959, it aligns with the CC-suffix serial style typical of early Junior .25s and is chambered in .25 ACP with a 6+1 capacity. The configuration and markings make this a notable collectible variant, enhanced by its gold-plated finish.
