    What’s Included

    • Long Branch Rifle No.4 Mk I* in .303 British
    • Two 10-round Lee-Enfield No.4 pattern detachable steel box magazines (as shown)

Built at the Canadian Long Branch factory during WWII, this No.4 Mk I* reflects 1943 production and the period’s streamlined updates. The Mk I* pattern uses the simplified bolt-head release notch while retaining the round bolt knob and the Lee rear-locking action known for smooth cycling.

The sighting system is the No.4 setup with a front sight protector/base (blade not installed) and an aperture rear sight. A charger bridge is present on the receiver for easy loading from chargers.

Furniture is the full-length hardwood stock with upper handguard featuring longitudinal grooves, complemented by a brass buttplate with trap and sling swivels. The barrel assembly uses two barrel bands, and the muzzle features a pinned front sight protector with the correct No.4 spike-bayonet boss.

The 25.2-inch barrel and approximately 44.5-inch overall length balance handling and sight radius. Chambered in .303 British with a 10-round detachable magazine, this rifle preserves the No.4 service configuration and includes two No.4 pattern steel magazines.

Markings include "No4 Mk I* LONG BRANCH" on the receiver, with an L-series serial indicator denoting Canadian Long Branch production.
