Produced in the early 1970s with a serial range indicating shipment in late 1971 to early 1972, this 10/22 represents the model in its standard carbine form. It is made in the United States and is not a Custom Shop variant.
The carbine uses a semi-automatic blowback action chambered in .22 LR with a 10+1 capacity. A cross-bolt safety provides straightforward operation. The 18.5-inch barrel is blued steel with an unthreaded, standard profile.
The receiver and trigger guard are aluminum alloy with a black anodized finish. The receiver is drilled and tapped with four holes to accept a scope base if the buyer chooses to add one. Open sights remain in place, including a fixed front sight and a folding rear leaf.
The hardwood stock features the traditional barrel-band fore-end, a straight, uncheckered comb, and a curved metal buttplate. Integral front and rear sling loops are installed. Length of pull measures 13.25 inches, offering a classic carbine fit.
