This pre-WWII Winchester Model 12 Field Grade in 20 Gauge was manufactured in 1929 and retains desirable period features. It has a 28 inch plain, non-ribbed Nickel Steel barrel marked Full, a 2 3/4 inch chamber, and a takedown configuration. Matching serial numbers are present on the receiver and barrel extension, and Winchester oval WP proofs are stamped on the barrel and receiver. The shotgun is slam-fire capable and set up with classic walnut furniture and a checkered steel buttplate.

Made in 1929, this Model 12 comes from the pre-WWII era and features Winchester oval WP proof marks on both the barrel and receiver. The receiver and barrel extension carry matching serial numbers, and an additional 2 3/4 stamp appears beneath the receiver serial area, confirming chamber length.
The 28 inch barrel is the classic plain, non-ribbed style and is rollmarked Nickel Steel. It is blued and features a factory fixed Full choke (rollmarked “2 3/4 FULL”), aligning with the Field Grade configuration specified for this gun.
The shotgun retains its traditional walnut stock with a pistol-grip and straight comb, paired with a grooved corncob walnut fore-end. A checkered steel buttplate bearing the Winchester Repeating Arms logo caps the stock. Length of pull measures 12.5 inches.
Built on a blued steel receiver with an internal hammer, this pump-action Model 12 is slam-fire capable (no disconnector) and has a 4+1 capacity. It is a takedown model made in the United States and chambered for 2 3/4 inch shells.
