The PPQ M1 Classic stands out for its paddle-style, ambidextrous magazine release, a hallmark of the early PPQ series. It pairs with ambidextrous slide stop levers for fully bilateral controls. The striker-fired Quick Defense trigger with a short reset supports rapid, consistent follow-up shots.
Chambered in .40 S&W with a 4" barrel, this PPQ uses a locked-breech, tilting-barrel system and includes a loaded-chamber witness hole on the barrel hood. Capacity is 11+1 with the included factory magazines.
The slide wears a matte black finish with front and rear cocking serrations. Sights are low-profile, with a white-dot front post and a rear notch. The black polymer frame features molded textured grip panels with finger-groove contouring.
A 3-slot Picatinny/1913 rail on the dustcover provides space for compatible accessories. German nitro proof (eagle/N), the Ulm antler proof, and the DE country code are present, along with the Walther Arms (Fort Smith, AR) import mark. A BD date code is noted, and the barrel hood insert and case label display matching serial information.
