This sporterized Radom wz.29 pairs a pre-WWII Polish Mauser 98-type action with a modernized hunting configuration and 8mm-06 chambering. The receiver ring carries the Polish eagle crest over 'F.B. RADOM 1938' with 'wz.29' on the left rail, and the receiver and barrel shank show matching serial markings. A 23.6-inch sporter-contour barrel, drilled-and-tapped receiver ring, and a Monte Carlo stock with white-line accents round out a clean, purpose-built setup.

Built on a Polish Radom wz.29 Mauser 98-type action, this rifle retains key receiver markings: the Polish eagle crest over 'F.B. RADOM 1938' on the ring and 'wz.29' on the left rail. The action features the Mauser charger bridge and a turned-down bolt with a round knob, with matching serial markings noted on the receiver and barrel shank.
The sporter conversion centers on a 23.6-inch sporter-profile barrel chambered in 8mm-06. The receiver ring has been drilled and tapped with two holes. Military iron sights were removed; there is no rear sight base on the barrel, and the former front sight base was removed with a pin hole and witness marks visible at the muzzle. No sights are installed.
The stock is a classic sporter style with a raised Monte Carlo comb and cheekpiece, a forend tip capped in contrasting black with a white-line spacer, and a pistol grip finished with a round, checkered cap. A ventilated recoil pad with a white-line spacer and fixed sling swivels are installed. Length of pull measures 14.25 inches.
Feeding is via an internal box magazine with a 4+1 capacity. Originating from Fabryka Broni in Radom, Poland, and dated 1938, this pre-WWII action provides a solid foundation for the custom 8mm-06 sporting setup.
