What's Included
- Schutzen Zimmerstutzen 4mm single-shot rifle
The action is a single-shot design with a top-opening breech loading port and a pivoting flip-up tab, suited for the 4mm Zimmerstutzen cartridge. This simple, focused mechanism supports deliberate, precise loading for controlled indoor or gallery-style shooting.
The barrel is a heavy octagonal steel profile measuring 8 inches, paired with a traditional front sight; the barrel top includes a dovetail provision for a rear sight.
Trigger control is provided by double-set triggers within an ornate spur-style trigger guard. The set-trigger arrangement enables a refined, light release appropriate for precision work at short distances.
The right-hand target stock is walnut with a raised cheekpiece, checkering limited to the wrist/grip, and a smooth fore-end, along with a Schuetzen-style steel hooked buttplate for stable shoulder anchoring. A mounting socket for a removable palm rest is present, and a front sling swivel is fitted to the barrel. The metal components present a patinated, in-the-white/grey steel appearance with oxidation and little to no original blue remaining, consistent with the rifle’s traditional construction and age.
