Chambered in .35 Rem, this Model 336C pairs Marlin’s proven lever-action with a 20-inch carbine-length barrel and a full-length tubular magazine secured by two barrel bands. Capacity is 6+1. The rifle retains its blued steel construction throughout, including the solid-top, side-eject receiver.
The steel barrel uses Marlin’s Micro-Groove rifling and is set up with a hooded front bead on a ramp and an adjustable semi-buckhorn elevator rear sight. The receiver is drilled and tapped for optics and currently hosts a Bushnell Sportview 3-9x variable-power scope mounted in rings on a receiver base.
Walnut furniture includes a pistol-grip stock and matching fore-end, complemented by a black plastic Marlin-logo buttplate with a white-line spacer and the Marlin bullseye inlay. Sling swivel studs are installed for carry options. Length of pull measures 14.0 inches.
This pre-safety, North Haven-built 336C also features a gold-tone trigger and a half-cock hammer safety. It was manufactured in 1979 in the United States and carries the classic blued finish on its steel frame and receiver.
