The Gen II configuration brings a free-float aluminum M-LOK handguard, updated controls, and a full-length numbered Picatinny top rail spanning the receiver and handguard. Controls include an ambidextrous two-position safety and a left-side reciprocating charging handle for straightforward manipulation.
The 8.3 inch CrMoV steel barrel is cold hammer forged, chrome-lined, and threaded, and it uses a 1:9.45 RH twist. A birdcage-style muzzle device is installed at the factory threads, complementing the compact barrel setup.
Construction centers on a milled steel upper receiver paired with a polymer lower housing and black finish. The pistol integrates a rear 1913 Picatinny interface and a left-side QD sling socket in the receiver. No sights are installed; the top surface is a continuous Picatinny rail.
It is chambered in 7.62x39 with a 30+1 capacity and is compatible with AK-pattern magazines. Receiver markings include GALIL ACE SAR and CAL. 7.62x39, with import and production stamps such as IWI – ISRAEL, IWI US • Middletown, PA, and CHF/CL 1:9.45 H3. Country of origin is Israel.
