What’s Included
- Cimarron Model P Evil Roy Competition .45 Colt revolver (5.5 inch barrel)
Built for smooth, consistent operation, the Evil Roy Competition model incorporates a tuned action with lighter springs and a crisp trigger. It retains traditional single-action operation while emphasizing fast, controlled shooting.
Precision-oriented sighting is provided by a wide brass-colored front blade and a fixed square-notch rear. Safety features include a hammer safety notch and an elongated base pin safety (hammer block). The revolver uses the spring-loaded cross-pin cylinder base pin retention in the "pre-war" style.
Classic materials and finishes stand out: a color case-hardened frame, blued barrel and cylinder, nitre-blued screws, and a bright-polished steel backstrap and trigger guard. Slim, checkered walnut grips with bordered panels and a plow-handle profile offer a secure, traditional feel. A standard ejector assembly with a bullseye ejector rod head supports positive extraction.
Collector- and enthusiast-friendly markings include the "Evil Roy" script on the barrel, Colt SAA-style patent-date markings on the left frame, Italian proof/date codes, and CIMARRON F.A. Co. import marks. Assembly/inspector numbers appear on the barrel lug underside. The serial prefix is "ER," with matching last four digits stamped on the cylinder, and the revolver is a faithful reproduction produced by A.
