Built on Ruger’s sideplate-less, investment-cast stainless frame, this GS-32 variant delivers the fixed-sight, round-butt configuration associated with the plainclothes-oriented Speed-Six. The brushed stainless finish extends across the frame, barrel, and cylinder for a uniform, utilitarian appearance.
The revolver features a 2.75 inch stainless barrel with a short underlug, a six-shot fluted cylinder, and fixed sights consisting of a serrated ramp front and integral square-notch rear. Operating controls include a push-button cylinder release, knurled ejector-rod tip, and a checkered hammer spur.
Action is double-action/single-action with an exposed hammer and Ruger’s transfer-bar safety system. The trigger face is smooth. Factory markings include the Ruger phoenix logo on the frame and the Southport address/warning legend on the barrel; an "S" stamp appears on the rear of the cylinder.
This example is fitted with Pachmayr Presentation/Compac black rubber grips. It was manufactured in the USA in 1980 and comes from Ruger’s Six series of stainless revolvers designed for service and plainclothes roles.
