The EMP design scales the 1911 platform for 9mm, delivering a micro footprint paired with 9+1 capacity. Its forged two-tone build combines a stainless slide with a black hardcoat anodized forged aluminum-alloy frame for a balanced carry package.
The 3.0-inch match-grade bull barrel is bushingless and includes a fully supported ramp. A dual captive recoil spring with a full-length guide rod manages the slide system for the compact format.
Controls and ergonomics include an ambidextrous thumb safety and a beavertail grip safety with a memory bump. A skeletonized three-hole trigger, a skeletonized Commander-style hammer, and a checkered mainspring housing round out the 1911 feature set.
Functional touches include front and rear cocking serrations and low-profile dovetailed 3-dot sights. The slide and barrel hood carry factory markings including EMP and S.A. 9MM. The installed slim black textured grips feature a fleur-de-lis motif, and the included magazines wear extended basepads.
