Ruger-made Mayodan production gives this SBL the RM-prefix and updated stainless construction. The receiver is 416 stainless steel with a matching stainless finish, paired to an oversized big-loop stainless lever for confident cycling.
The 19.1 in barrel is 410 stainless steel, cold-hammer-forged, and threaded 11/16x24 with a recessed crown and 1:20 RH twist. These barrel details provide a precise, durable setup in a corrosion-resistant package.
The stock set is gray/black laminate hardwood with checkering, a soft recoil pad, sling-swivel studs, and distinctive Marlin touches including the laser-engraved horse-and-rider on the grip and the red/white bullseye inlay. The pistol-grip profile and 13.5 in length of pull offer a familiar SBL fit.
As configured, the rifle retains the green fiber-optic front blade on a ramp. Rear sighting arrangement may vary; see photos for the current configuration. A receiver-length rail is installed; the original extended Picatinny rail section is included but not installed.
