The PPQ M1 Classic uses Walther's paddle-style, ambidextrous magazine release for fast, intuitive operation. This example is German-made and CIP proofed at Ulm, with DE CIP N BI and Ulm stag antler proofs, plus manufacturer and importer markings including CARL WALTHER ULM/DO. and WALTHER ARMS FORT SMITH, AR.
The Quick Defense trigger is pre-cocked with a short reset of approximately 0.1 in and a listed pull around 5.6 lb, providing a crisp, consistent break. The molded, textured polymer grip and full-size frame support a 15+1 capacity in 9mm Luger.
Low-profile 3-dot iron sights include a rear sight that is screw-adjustable for windage. The slide features front and rear serrations for confident manipulation and a top anti-glare rib to reduce reflections. Safety elements include a trigger safety and a loaded chamber viewport.
The 4 in steel barrel is Tenifer nitrided, and the dust cover hosts a MIL-STD-1913 three-slot accessory rail for lights or lasers. Dimensions are 7.1 in overall length, 5.3 in height, and 1.3 in width, with an unloaded weight of approximately 24–24.5 oz.
