This single-action-only revolver features a 4.75 inch barrel and a fluted six-shot cylinder chambered in .22 LR. It uses fixed sights, with a small front blade and a rear notch integral to the topstrap, for a straightforward sight picture.
Construction details include a 1215 steel barrel and a Zamak 5 alloy frame, finished in black/blue. The smooth reddish wood birdshead grips match the birdshead grip frame for a distinctive profile and confident handling. The external wide-spur, checkered hammer offers positive control.
Safety features consist of a frame-mounted manual safety. A full-length ejector-rod housing with a knurled ejector-rod head provides positive case extraction.
Factory markings include the barrel warning legend "KEEP EMPTY CHAMBER UNDER HAMMER." The left frame is roll-marked "HERITAGE MFG. MIAMI, FL." and the right frame reads "READ THE MANUAL BEFORE USE."
