The Victor configuration centers on the 5.5-inch heavy, slab-sided steel barrel and ventilated rib. The underside of the barrel includes multiple tapped holes for removable tuning weights, allowing the shooter to tailor forward balance. A frame-mounted lever allows quick barrel removal and installation.
The action is simple blowback, semi-automatic, with an internal bolt and right-side ejection port instead of an external slide. A heel-type magazine release supports secure magazine retention, and capacity is 10+1 with standard magazines.
Target sighting equipment includes a pinned front blade and a fully adjustable rear target sight. The gold-tone target trigger and the checkered walnut target grips complement the Military (1911-like) grip angle for a consistent target-oriented interface.
Construction is all steel with a blued finish on the frame and receiver. This example is a 107 series pistol produced in Hamden, Connecticut during the 1970s, reflecting the period features and build of High Standard's dedicated target line.
