Built on a Spike's Tactical ST-15 lower with the spider logo and correct MOD ST15 and CAL MULTI roll marks, this AR-15 pattern pistol uses 7075-T6 aluminum receivers with a Type III hardcoat anodized finish. The right side is marked Spike's Tactical, Apopka, FL, U.S.A. The flat-top upper includes a forward assist, ejection-port cover, and T-marked Picatinny rail.
The 8.1 inch barrel is threaded and capped with an A2-pattern birdcage flash hider. A low-profile, set-screw gas block sits under the handguard, and the action is a semi-automatic, direct-impingement system with a rotating bolt. Chambered in 5.56mm NATO, the pistol uses STANAG magazines and has a 20+1 capacity with the included magazines.
Furniture and controls are set up for practical handling. It wears a Shockwave Technologies Blade pistol stabilizing brace on a smooth pistol receiver extension, an ambidextrous safety selector with pictogram markings, and a FAB Defense AG-43 polymer grip. The magazine release is the standard pattern.
The free-float aluminum tube handguard provides a full-length top Picatinny rail, with bolt-on 1913 rail sections at the 9 and 6 o'clock positions for accessory placement. No sights are installed, allowing the end user to configure the sighting system of choice on the flat-top and handguard rails.
