Made by Zastava Arms in Serbia, this M70 N-PAP belongs to the PAP series and is chambered in 7.62x39. It uses a semi-automatic, long-stroke gas piston system with a rotating bolt. The receiver is stamped and riveted with a non-bulged front trunnion, and import markings include C.A.I. GEORGIA, VT and ZASTAVA SERBIA.
The rifle is configured with a fixed wood stock and rubber buttpad, providing a 13.5-inch length of pull. It retains Yugo M70-pattern wood handguards with elongated cooling slots and a black polymer finger-groove pistol grip for a secure hold. A manual safety/selector lever controls the action.
Sighting equipment includes a protected front post and an AK-pattern tangent rear sight leaf graduated from 1 to 10. For mounting optics, the rifle has a hinged top cover with a full-length Picatinny optic rail. There is no left-side optics mounting rail on the receiver.
The 16.3-inch barrel supports the rifle’s 30+1 capacity when paired with standard AK-pattern magazines. A TAPCO G2 fire-control group is installed. This example shows Zastava Serbia and Century Arms import stamps, and non-matching receiver and bolt-carrier serial numbers were observed.
