The 2020-series Python incorporates a strengthened frame and topstrap with a refined DA/SA action that uses a reduced parts count. This example wears a bright polished stainless finish with polished flats and cylinder, complemented by a matte, glare‑reducing top strap and vent‑rib sighting plane, with a six‑shot fluted cylinder and exposed hammer.
The 3-inch, one-piece stainless barrel has a full underlug, a ventilated top rib with a single elongated slot near the muzzle, and a recessed target crown. Sights include a user-interchangeable ramped front blade with orange insert and a black, screw-adjustable square‑notch rear.
