The PK380 uses a short-recoil, locked-breech, tilting-barrel operating system with a DA/SA, hammer-fired trigger and an external spurred hammer. It omits an external slide-stop lever, yet the slide locks open internally after the last round for clear status at empty.
Its two-tone finish combines a nickel-finished slide with a black polymer frame. The slide features front and rear serrations and a loaded-chamber inspection slot. Controls include an ambidextrous, paddle-style magazine release and an ambidextrous, slide-mounted manual safety, complemented by a firing pin block.
Sighting is straightforward with fixed 3-dot white sights: a white dot front ramp and a drift-adjustable, square-notch rear with white dots. The frame incorporates an integral multi-slot accessory rail for lights or other rail-mounted equipment.
Ergonomics are enhanced by the finger-groove grip. Capacity is 8+1 in .380 ACP, and the barrel measures 3.66 in. Design details include tool-assisted takedown using the supplied key.
Origin and markings are clear: Made in Germany at Carl Walther Ulm/Do, with DE CIP N proofs and BH date code (2017). Import and distribution are marked by Walther Arms, Fort Smith, AR. Manufacturer part number is 505.03.09.
