What’s Included
- Belgian single-shot .22 CB Flobert/Warnant-type rifle
This single-shot rifle uses a Warnant-style, top-tang thumb-lever tilting breech with an external hammer and double-set triggers. It is chambered for .22 CB rimfire and was intended for gallery and parlor shooting. Capacity is single-shot with no provision for a magazine.
The barrel is a 22.5-inch full-octagon small-bore steel tube, paired with fixed iron sights: a front blade and a rear notch. The steel receiver complements the barrel for a consistent, period-correct build.
Belgian proofing details include an oval proof mark and a star-over-letter inspector mark on the barrel flat near the breech, indicative of Liège guild manufacture. Country of origin is Belgium, with production in the 1880–1890 timeframe.
The hardwood stock features a semi-pistol grip and a checkered wrist for secure handling, along with a metal buttplate. Length of pull measures 14.0 inches, consistent with its period configuration.
