This 1919 Winchester Model 1910 is a classic American self-loading sporting rifle chambered exclusively in .401 Winchester Self-Loading. As the final and most powerful entry in Winchester's early Self-Loading series, it was produced from 1910 to 1936 with approximately 20,7xx made. It features the distinctive under-barrel forward plunger charging piece and a tool-less takedown system. The .401 WSL chambering is very desirable for big/dangerous game.

    What's Included

    • Winchester Model 1910 .401 WSL rifle
    • 1x 4-round detachable box magazine (Model 1910 pattern) with ribbed body and ".401 CAL." marked floorplate

The Model 1910 operates on a simple blowback, semi-automatic action and feeds from a 4-round detachable box magazine for a 4+1 capacity. Its hallmark forward plunger charging piece sits under the barrel, providing the rifle with its distinctive profile and manual of arms. A single knurled screw at the rear of the upper receiver enables tool-less takedown.

Barrel length is 20", with open iron sights: a small bead front on a pedestal and a semi-buckhorn rear with a stepped elevator. These factory-style sights deliver a practical sight picture for the rifle’s intended field use.

The rifle wears a plain walnut stock and fore-end with a steel nose cap. The stock has a pistol-grip profile and a checkered steel buttplate bearing the Winchester Repeating Arms Co. logo. Length of pull is 13.75. The metal surfaces retain a blued finish consistent with the period.

As the final and most powerful of Winchester’s early self-loading sporting rifles, the Model 1910 holds a distinct place in the Self-Loading series. It was produced from 1910–1936 with approximately 20,7xx examples made and chambered only in .401 Winchester Self-Loading, a cartridge regarded as very desirable for big/dangerous game in its era. This example’s barrel legend includes multiple patent dates and the Winchester manufacturer marking, underscoring its period-correct configuration and U.S. origin.
