What’s Included
- Winchester Model 1892 Saddle Ring Carbine chambered in .32-20 Win.
Built in 1906, this carbine represents a desirable early-20th-century configuration of the Model 1892 in .32-20 WCF. It retains the classic 20-inch round barrel, top ejection, and a tubular under-barrel magazine with a 5+1 capacity. The caliber is correctly stamped "32 W.C.F." on top of the barrel ahead of the receiver.
Carbine-specific features include the left-side saddle ring and staple, a carbine forend with single barrel band, and a straight-grip walnut buttstock capped by a steel carbine buttplate. The sighting system is the proper carbine setup: a pinned blade up front and a folding ladder rear.
Factory markings and proofs are present where expected. The tang is marked "MODEL 1892 – WINCHESTER – TRADE MARK." Winchester WP oval proofs are found on the barrel and on the receiver ring, confirming factory proofing. These details align with the carbine’s period configuration and production.
The length of pull measures approximately 12.75 inches, offering the compact handling associated with Winchester carbines of this era. Made in the USA by Winchester Repeating Arms, this example combines recognized markings, correct carbine furniture, and a classic chambering that collectors and enthusiasts value.
