What's Included
- Winchester Model 1894 Sporting Rifle (.32 Win. Spl.)
The Sporting Rifle configuration includes a 26-inch round barrel of nickel steel, marked "Nickel Steel Barrel Especially for Smokeless Powder," with a caliber stamp "32 W.S." It uses a full-length tubular magazine that runs to the muzzle and ends with a slotted end cap, providing a stated capacity of 9+1 in .32 Winchester Special.
The forged steel receiver wears a blued finish and retains the classic Model 1894 operation: lever-action with an exposed hammer, a top-eject receiver, and a right-side loading gate. The upper tang is marked "MODEL 1894 –WINCHESTER– TRADE MARK REG. IN U.S. PAT. OFF."
Sighting equipment is period-correct iron: a dovetailed front blade and a rear buckhorn sight with an elevator for adjustment. Winchester WP oval proofs are present on both the barrel and the receiver.
The straight-grip walnut stock and rifle-style fore-end with metal cap are paired with a steel crescent buttplate with a long return. Length of pull measures 13 inches, and there is no saddle ring on this rifle.
Manufactured in the United States in 1911, this Model 1894 presents well with its correct markings, traditional Sporting Rifle furniture, and strong bore condition.
