Belgian manufacture by FN Herstal with the Browning Arms Company Morgan, Utah & Montreal P.Q. import legend ties this pistol to the classic commercial Hi-Power line. The C-Series serial format uses a two-digit year prefix, identifying this example as 1972 production.
The pistol retains the original commercial fixed-sight layout, with a low blade front and square-notch rear. It has no lanyard ring, consistent with this configuration, and the serial number is located on the front of the grip frame under the trigger guard.
Construction is all steel with a blued finish on the slide and frame. It is a full-size Hi-Power with a 4.625 inch barrel, checkered walnut grip panels, and a spur hammer—hallmark features of this era.
Operation is single-action with a short-recoil, tilting-barrel system. Safety features include a manual thumb safety, magazine disconnect, and a half-cock notch. Capacity is 13+1 with the included detachable double-column steel magazine. Proof markings are present on the barrel hood.
