Manufactured in 1941, this Winchester Model 12 is a 16 gauge pump-action with a 28 inch plain barrel marked 2 3/4 CHAM and FULL. It features Winchester Proof Steel, a solid-top steel receiver with a matted sighting strip and right-side ejection, and a tubular magazine with a 6+1 capacity. The hammerless action retains the original no-disconnector design that allows slam-fire. Walnut furniture includes a pistol-grip stock and ribbed corncob fore-end, with practical sling hardware and a ventilated recoil pad installed.

    Condition

Overall Condition: Fair condition, showing extensive signs of prior use and handling.

Bore Condition: Fair - Generally clean, some residue or smudges, slight corrosion.

Specific Condition Notes: The firearm shows scratching and blemishing throughout, with widespread handling wear on the walnut furniture and visible finish wear. A ventilated rubber recoil pad has been installed, along with a rear sling swivel stud and a clamp-on front sling swivel assembly. It appears some previous work was done to repair the bore.
