Built by Kalashnikov USA in Pompano Beach, Florida, this KR-103 follows the Russian AK-103 pattern while being fully U.S.-made. The stamped, dimpled receiver and smooth 100-series style top cover match the model’s lineage, while the polymer 100-series ribbed handguards, fixed polymer stock with rear sling swivel, and polymer pistol grip provide rugged, service-style furniture.
The rifle uses a semi-automatic, long-stroke gas piston system with a rotating bolt and retains classic AK controls, including a paddle-style magazine release and a right-side selector/safety lever. It accepts detachable AK-pattern magazines and is configured for a 30+1 capacity in 7.62x39.
The 16.33-inch barrel terminates in 24x1.5 mm threads at the front end. Sighting is via a protected post front sight and a tangent rear leaf, with a 90-degree gas block and a front sight block featuring protective ears and a detent. Overall length is 36.75 inches, and the length of pull is 13.0 inches.
Condition is very good with light handling evidence, and the bore is clean with sharp rifling. The package is rounded out by two 30-round magazines and the original factory hard case, manual, and cable lock.
