This DP-12 uses a dual-barrel, bullpup layout to deliver substantial capacity in a short overall length of 29.5 inches. The twin tubular magazines feed in-line, with a single trigger firing the right barrel first, then the left, each pump cycling both magazines.
The shotgun features steel, side-by-side barrels that are threaded for the Tru-Choke pattern; choke tubes are not installed. An 18.9-inch barrel length balances maneuverability with pattern performance, and the bottom loading and ejection help keep debris out while maintaining a compact profile.
The receiver is machined from 7075 aluminum and paired with a durable black polymer frame and stock. The stock integrates a pistol grip and a rubber recoil pad, while the polymer forend includes a lower accessory rail and comes fitted with a vertical foregrip for confident cycling.
Controls include an AR-style rotary safety. The design accommodates 2 3/4-inch and 3-inch shells, with the twin magazines holding up to 14 rounds of 2 3/4-inch shells (12 with 3-inch), and it carries an approximate unloaded weight of 9 lb 12 oz with a 14.5-inch length of pull.
Introduced in 2015, the DP-12 earned broad recognition when it received the 2017 NRA Shooting Illustrated Golden Bullseye Shotgun of the Year, highlighting its distinctive engineering and feature set.
