Chambered in 7.62x54R, the rifle uses the Mosin interrupter/ejector system designed for rimmed cartridges. It feeds from a fixed trigger-guard/magazine assembly with a hinged floorplate and a 5+1 capacity. The receiver and barrel wear a blued finish, while the bolt is left in the white.
The barrel measures 28.7 inches, and overall length is approximately 48.5 inches. Furniture includes a hardwood stock with sling slots and metal escutcheons, a grasping groove on the right forearm, and a separate upper handguard. Two spring-retained barrel bands secure the handguard and fore-end. Length of pull is 13.5 inches.
Iron sights consist of a hooded front sight and a tangent rear sight with a sliding cursor. The muzzle and front-sight base are configured for the standard socket bayonet. The bore is bright with well-defined rifling, consistent with the condition notes.
