What's Included
- Ruger Blackhawk Old Model (Three-Screw) .357 Magnum revolver with 6.5 in barrel
Built on Ruger's Old Model three-screw system, this revolver uses the classic half-cock position for loading and unloading. The post-flattop topstrap protects the adjustable rear sight, reflecting the design evolution of the period while maintaining the solid feel Blackhawks are known for.
The 6.5 inch barrel, ramped and serrated front sight, and micro-style adjustable rear sight work together for a clear sight picture. The fluted six-shot cylinder balances the gun and complements the standard-length ejector-rod housing with its crescent-style button for positive extraction.
Construction combines a polished blued carbon-steel main frame, cylinder, and barrel with a black-anodized aluminum-alloy grip frame/trigger guard. Controls include a checkered spurred hammer and a smooth, curved trigger. Walnut grip panels wear Ruger medallions, with the right panel additionally marked "MZ."
Custom gold-highlighted rollmarks set this example apart visually. It remains eligible for the Ruger factory transfer-bar safety retrofit program, offering an option for those who prefer that update while keeping a noteworthy Old Model from the early 1960s, made in the United States.
