What's Included
- Mauser Model 1934 .32 ACP pistol
- 1 detachable steel single-stack 8-round magazine
Built by Mauser-Werke A.G. in Oberndorf, this Model 1934 is a German commercial example from the pre-war era. It is chambered in .32 ACP (7.65mm Browning) and uses a simple blowback, striker-fired system with an external striker/cocking piece.
The pistol is compact and purpose-built, with a fixed 3.4 inch barrel featuring a stepped muzzle collar. It wears a blued finish over carbon steel and is fitted with checkered walnut grip panels bearing an embossed Mauser banner cartouche. Sights are fixed, with a blade front and notch rear.
Controls include a heel-type magazine release and a magazine safety. A lanyard ring is mounted at the grip heel. Capacity is 8+1 using the included single-stack magazine.
Markings are correct and desirable: the left slide reads "MAUSER-WERKE A.G. OBERNDORF A.N." and the right slide reads "Cal. 7,65 – D.R.P.u.A.P." indicating German and foreign patents. The pistol carries the Crown over U German commercial nitro proof, consistent with pre-1940 proofing. As typical assembly practice, the last three digits of the serial number are stamped on the rear of the slide.
