Dixson Machine built this semi-automatic 1919A4-pattern rifle on a riveted steel side-plate receiver with a hinged top cover, belt-feed top cover assembly, and feed pawls. The rear pistol-grip backplate with trigger lever completes the familiar Browning 1919 manual of arms while maintaining a compliant semi-auto configuration.
The 24-inch barrel sits inside a perforated cooling jacket, and the muzzle booster is marked "13.5." Markings and parts stamps support the 7.62×51 NATO/Israeli pattern: Hebrew characters are present on the muzzle booster plug, and "7.62" appears on the rear sight base and internal components. The right sideplate bears the historic model marking "SEMIAUTO 30 CAL 1919" (Cal. .30), while the rifle is chambered in 7.62×51 NATO/.308 Win.
Sighting equipment is straightforward and durable, with a ladder/aperture rear sight; front sight configuration may vary.
The included mounting package adds significant utility and presentation value. The U.S. M2 tripod carries a brass tag marked "MOUNT TRIPOD CAL .30 M2 COLSON CORP. 1942." The swing-arm cradle with pintle (no T&E) is painted olive drab, with casting numbers visible (including 7046851), and features a single flat ammo-can platform on the feed side of the cradle; two link catch trays flank the receiver. Spent cases eject downward; a brass catcher or bottom ejection chute/box is not included.
