This 1965 Winchester Model 100 is a U.S.-made, gas-operated semi-automatic rifle chambered in .308 Win with a 22 inch steel barrel. It features classic Winchester details including a distinctive walnut stock with impressed basket-weave and oak-leaf motifs, factory iron sights, and a receiver drilled and tapped for scope bases. It comes with a detachable M-100 magazine and an installed leather sling.

Overall Condition: Fair condition, showing extensive signs of prior use and handling.
Bore Condition: Good - Clean, well-maintained, minor wear marks.
Bore Rifling: Good Rifling - Intact, well-defined lands and grooves.
Specific Condition Notes: The stock is cracked, and a large piece is missing down to where the second screw in the butt plate would be.

The Model 100 uses a gas-operated action with a rotating, multi-lug bolt, paired with a 22 inch steel barrel chambered in .308 Winchester. The barrel rollmark reads: "WINCHESTER TRADE MARK, MODEL 100, CAL. .308 WIN., MADE IN U.S.A., WIN. PROOF STEEL."
Sighting equipment includes a hooded ramp front sight and a barrel-mounted folding rear sight with elevator. The receiver top is drilled and tapped for scope bases, with two hole pairs visible.
Feeding is via a detachable steel box magazine marked "M-100." Capacity is 4+1. One 4-round magazine is included.
The walnut stock features impressed basket-weave checkering, oak-leaf motif panels, a black oval pistol-grip cap with a red "W" medallion, fixed sling swivels, and a 14.0 inch length of pull. A leather sling is installed.
Note: The Winchester Model 100 line was subject to a 1990 factory firing-pin safety recall.
