The receiver is blued steel and was drilled and tapped at the factory; a scope mount is installed.
It is factory-engraved to Grade II standard with line scrolls and animal-head cameos: an antelope on the left receiver and a stag/elk on the right. The walnut stock has a pistol-grip profile with sharp checkering and a black Browning hard buttplate, matched by a checkered walnut forearm.
Sighting equipment includes a hooded front sight on a ramp and a barrel-mounted adjustable rear sight. Controls include a cross-bolt safety with a red safety indicator. Length of pull measures 14.0 in, and sling swivel studs are fitted.
Barrel markings read "CALIBER 30.06 ONLY" and "PATENT PENDING," consistent with this 1960s-era configuration. Overall, this Belgium-made Grade II BAR combines desirable period features, factory engraving, and clean mechanical presentation.
