The Red Label field setup is evident throughout: a ventilated top rib on posts for a clear sighting plane, a brass bead front sight, and monoblock construction with the joint line visible at the breech. The blued barrels contrast cleanly with the brushed/satin stainless steel receiver and the blued top lever.
The walnut stock and forend are checkered for grip, with a Ruger medallion inset in the forend and a black Ruger-logo recoil pad at the butt. Length of pull measures 14.0 inches. Controls include a tang safety marked with an "S" and a single trigger. Capacity is 2 rounds.
The barrels are threaded for Ruger flush-fit choke tubes. Included tubes are Improved Cylinder, Modified, and Full. This system is also compatible with Cylinder choke options from Ruger’s flush-fit pattern, providing flexibility to tailor constriction as needed. Installed constrictions are not confirmed.
Mechanically, the ejectors are timed and the firing pins are in good condition. The action is a break-action over/under with a stainless receiver made in the USA in 2006.
