SIG Sauer MPX ASP .177 Cal CO2 Semi-Auto Air Rifle, Rifled Steel Barrel, Black, Folding Sights
This factory-new SIG Sauer MPX ASP .177 caliber air rifle stands out for its CO2-powered semi-automatic operation and SIG RPM (Rapid Pellet Magazine) system that enables true semi-automatic pellet fire. It uses a threaded 88 g or 90 g CO2 cylinder housed cleanly in the stock, and pairs a rifled steel barrel with a full-length Picatinny top rail and folding iron sights. Designed within SIG Sauer’s ASP series, this MPX Air combines familiar MPX-style controls with airgun-specific engineering. The manual safety selector is clearly marked S and F, and an ejection-port cover is present, reinforcing the model’s realistic exterior details.
The powerplant uses a threaded 88 g or 90 g CO2 cylinder housed in the stock’s internal compartment. This configuration keeps the rifle balanced and streamlined, with a synthetic fixed stock and a rubber buttpad for secure shouldering.
The rifled steel barrel is paired with folding iron sights and a full-length Picatinny top rail. A vented polymer handguard with Picatinny accessory rail segments at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock offers additional mounting options. The setup provides a clean sighting system out of the box with room for add-ons as desired.
SIG’s RPM (Rapid Pellet Magazine) system enables true semi-automatic pellet fire, delivering fast follow-up shots. The package states up to 600 fps, while the current factory page lists up to 450 fps. Overall length is 25.75 inches, weight is 6.2 lb, and the trigger weight is listed at 7.0 lb.
