The G17 Gen5 MOS delivers a proven full-size 9mm format with a 4.49-inch steel barrel and a 17+1 capacity. Fixed Glock polymer sights are installed, featuring a front dot blade and a polymer rear sight. Front and rear slide serrations provide confident manipulation.
Gen5 updates on this pistol include an ambidextrous slide stop lever, a slightly flared magazine well for efficient reloads, and a left-side magazine release. The frame is black polymer, paired with a black-finished slide, and an integral accessory rail is molded into the dust cover.
The factory MOS system is present, with the cover plate installed and a Glock MOS adapter plate included. This provides a ready interface for mounting a compatible optic using the appropriate adapter plate.
It is striker-fired and uses a short-recoil, tilting-barrel system. Originating from Austria, it bears CIP "N" and "AT" proof marks alongside "MADE IN AUSTRIA" and Glock, Inc., Smyrna, GA markings. The barrel, slide, and frame carry matching serial numbers.
