This Springfield Armory Hellcat RDP pairs a 3.8-inch hammer-forged, Melonite-treated threaded barrel and factory self-indexing compensator with a factory-installed HEX Wasp micro red dot. The U-Dot tritium front and Tactical Rack rear co-witness with the optic, and the micro-size polymer frame uses Adaptive Grip Texture with a single-slot accessory rail. It ships with three magazines to reach a stated maximum capacity of 15+1.

The Rapid Defense Package configuration features a 3.8-inch threaded barrel with a factory self-indexing compensator. The barrel is hammer-forged and Melonite-treated, and the pistol retains a non-manual-safety configuration with a striker-fired action and trigger safety.
The slide is machined steel with a Melonite finish and an optic cut, and it comes with the HEX Wasp already mounted. The Wasp is always on with an auto-dimming sensor and uses a durable 6061-T6 aluminum housing that is IPX7-rated. The U-Dot tritium front and Tactical Rack U-notch rear are designed to co-witness with the optic.
The micro-size polymer frame uses Springfield Armory’s Adaptive Grip Texture for secure purchase and includes a single-slot accessory rail. Melonite-treated components provide added corrosion resistance while keeping the package compact.
