The 4.0FC COA build mates a compact-length slide to a full-size frame, delivering capacity up to 20+1 with the included magazines. The serialized Central Operating Group (COG) chassis provides a modular foundation inside the polymer frame with interchangeable backstraps and a palm swell for fit.
The stainless-steel slide wears a black Melonite finish and features front and rear serrations, a forward indexing trench, and top serrations for confident manipulation. Its COA-specific A-CUT wedge-locking interface (front hook/rear wedge) provides a rigid, direct-mount footprint for the included optic.
The 4.0-inch hammer-forged, Melonite-treated barrel supports the striker-fired action. A flat-faced trigger with an integral safety tab and a trigger safety system contribute to consistent operation. Controls include ambidextrous slide stop levers and a left-side magazine release.
Iron sights consist of a post front and a notch rear with a tactical rack face. The black polymer frame incorporates a 4-slot Picatinny accessory rail on the dust cover for lights or lasers. The installed Aimpoint COA enclosed-emitter red dot uses a red dot reticle for a clear aiming point.
