This Rapide is a full-size 1911 platform in 9mm Luger with a 5-inch bushing-fit barrel and single-action operation. The steel frame adds durability, and the integral three-slot, 1913-style Picatinny rail supports common weapon-mounted accessories.
The slide features lightening windows, front and rear cocking serrations, and a lowered and flared ejection port. It is optics-ready with a milled recess for a mounting plate and is equipped with iron sights. The front sight is a square post with a single white dot.
Controls and safeties include an ambidextrous thumb safety, a grip safety, and internal passive safeties. The mainspring housing is flat with machined rear grooves and an integrated flared magwell, and the frame has a machined, checkered frontstrap for secure handling.
The trigger is a flat-faced, V-cut, red anodized, skeletonized aluminum design. Black textured G10 grip panels provide a firm, consistent hold. Capacity is 10+1 with the included 10-round magazine.
