What's Included
- One Ruger factory 20-round steel Mini-14 magazine (Ruger rollmark visible)
- Picatinny receiver rail (installed)
The Tactical configuration pairs a compact 16-inch, threaded steel barrel (matte blued) with an A1-style (full-birdcage) flash suppressor in a bright steel/stainless finish. The steel receiver is matte blued for a duty-ready appearance.
The rifle uses Ruger's short-stroke op-rod Mini-14 gas system with a rotating bolt and a four-screw clamshell gas block that integrates the front sling loop. A fixed sling loop is fitted at the front, while the rear uses a sling stud with a detachable swivel.
Sights include an adjustable ghost-ring rear aperture and a wing-protected front post for fast, protected alignment. A ventilated polymer handguard with oval ports helps manage heat while keeping weight in check.
The black synthetic stock has a straight comb and molded checkering for a steady hold, with a 13.0-inch length of pull that balances maneuverability and control. Capacity is 20+1, and the rifle accepts both 5.56 NATO and .223 Remington.
This example is a later 580-Series build with a 583-prefix receiver, produced in 2015 in the USA, and comes with an installed Picatinny receiver rail for mounting optics.
