Ithaca Model 37/87 Featherlight Deerslayer 12 Gauge Fully Rifled Replacement Barrel, King Ferry Era, Matte Gray, Iron Sights, 2 3/4 and 3 Inch
This is a factory Ithaca Deerslayer replacement barrel for the Model 37/87 Featherlight, produced during the King Ferry, NY era. It features a fully rifled bore, matte gray finish, and barrel-mounted open sights. It is chambered for both 2 3/4 and 3 inch 12 gauge shells and is built from steel with Ithaca's Roto Forged process, noted on the rollmarks.
The barrel carries clear Deerslayer and Featherlight rollmarks, including "M-37-FEATHERLIGHT CHAMBER FOR 2 3/4 & 3 12 GA PROOF TESTED" and "ITHACA GUN CO. KING FERRY, N.Y. MADE IN U.S.A. ROTO FORGED," along with the anvil symbol. It has a plain muzzle crown and no rib or cantilever scope base.
The front sight is a ramped blade with an orange insert, and the rear sight is adjustable on a ramp base.
Designed as a removable barrel for the pump-action Model 37/87, the breech end has an external male thread shank and an under-barrel lug. This is not the pinned Deerslayer II/III type. The fully rifled bore supports dedicated slug use, and the matte gray finish complements the Featherlight aesthetic from the King Ferry period.

Built in the United States during the King Ferry era (1987–2005), this Deerslayer barrel delivers the purpose-built performance Deerslayer barrels are known for, in a configuration made to swap onto compatible Model 37/87 Featherlight receivers. The external threaded shank and under-barrel lug align with standard Featherlight attachment.
The combination of a fully rifled bore and sturdy open sights provides a straightforward setup for slug use without additional mounting hardware. The matte gray finish, plain muzzle crown, and clean rollmarks give it a factory-correct look consistent with this production period.
Notable factory markings include DEERSLAYER, M-37-FEATHERLIGHT chamber info, PROOF TESTED, and the ROTO FORGED designation with an anvil symbol. The barrel has no rib and no cantilever scope base, matching the open-sight, removable Deerslayer configuration.
