Built on the Beretta 80-Series Cheetah platform, this Mod. 87 BB is chambered in .22 LR and sized for compact handling. It uses a fixed-barrel, double-action/single-action blowback system with a 3.8 in barrel. The steel slide and anodized aluminum alloy frame keep weight to about 20.1 oz with an overall length of approximately 6.8 in.
The BB-generation frame-mounted manual safety allows cocked-and-locked carry and includes a red dot indicator. The DA/SA trigger and exposed, checkered-spur hammer provide familiar controls, while the heel-type magazine release matches the period-correct 80-Series configuration.
Fixed sights include a white-dot blade front and a square-notch rear. The slide uses Beretta’s open-top design with a longitudinal top rib. A two-tone appearance pairs polished slide flats with a dark anodized frame, and the checkered walnut grips with PB medallions complete the classic Cheetah look.
